Some people hate silence. Some people love it.
At first, letting go of everything around you can feel unproductive. But I think we need silence in order to find ourselves and our calling. Our lives are filled with chaos, technology, noise, clutter.
True or true?
But silence can be wonderful! It’s peaceful. Even if only for a few moments.
It can be the remedy for our stress or even a remedy for finding our flow, our passion!
When you find a moment where everything seems to settle, you don’t have anything to do, relish in the moment. Sit and close your eyes. Take a few deep breathes and just feel.
How do you feel?
How do you want to feel?
How does your current lifestyle make you feel?
Listen to your inner voice that will begin to send you thoughts. This is your inner song.
One of my favorite authors is Dr. Wayne Dyer. He talks about listening to this inner song:
“Don’t die with your music still inside you. Listen to your intuitive inner voice and find what passion stirs your soul. When you do this, you’re also tapping into another face of intention: love. If you’re doing what you love and loving what you do—whatever it is—you make a living at it!”
So what part inside some of us will yell, “It’s NOT possible, I can’t do this!?”
That, my loves, is fear.
Fear is not real.
Fear is the anticipation of pain. So how do we deal with fear?
Dr Wayne Dyer says, “It’s been proven that the thoughts we choose have everything to do with our emotions. I can tell you that a commitment to feeling good can take away a stomach ache, fear, depression, sadness, anxiety—you name it. Any stress signal is a way of alerting you to say the five magic words: I want to feel good. This is your intention to be tranquil and stress free—and it’s a way of connecting to spirit.”
What do you think? Can you change your thoughts today? Will you give it a try?
